Nice reading.
I really like these first hand accounts from the war. They are very inspiring and full of events and material that can be easily used when GMing. Even if this story is from the PTO the stories can easily be adjusted to fit any teatre of operation. I riflemans life wasn't that different when it comes to encounters with the enemies. Dirt, mortars, MGs, mud and cover...The environmental hazards might be totally different, and harder to play well though.

Yeah first hand accounts like that are really great for getting your head into the world. Man, I loved that!
