Current status on WT2E?

I haven't been able to find anything more concrete on the second edition of Wild Talents beyond the nebulous "early 2009" statement. While I understand the reasons behind this move, might it be possible to get an update on where things stand with the new book? I think the last statement made in regards to the new book was that it was in layout. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't have firm information on it yet. My schedule has taken a serious nosedive in the last couple of months so Grim War, The Kerberos Club, the WT2 hardback, Delta Green: Targets of Opportunity, Bigger Bads, Little Monsters, and a really interesting King in Yellow project that we started on last year are all moving slower than snails.

If it's any consolation, I've been making terrific progress on Grim War the past few days. Hope to have it ready for final inspection by Greg and Ken at the end of the week; then layout and release a week or two after that.

Excellent, I'm looking forward to this one. Got my pre-order email sitting in my 'pending' folder, can't wait to move into 'received' (yes, I do keep my emails very organised).
Setting sounds cool and the 'company rules' as well... will be a brilliant book I'm sure.

I know Kerberos Club comes out soon, and I saw something in the pdf thread that suggested a time of delay; could we get a more concrete idea regarding when we might know more?

Are there going to be useful things in 1st edition that don't make their way into the 2nd edition (like the adventure, for example)? In other words, will I want to keep both books, or is everything going to be present in the 2nd edition?

"White Knights, Black Hearts" won't be in the second edition hardback. We'll probably release an updated version, with the 2nd Edition rules for the characters, as a PDF at some point.
