EDITED DECEMBER 1, 2007.

We have a number of projects in the works right now, including a series of Wild Talents supplements that we hope to release soon after the second edition. Here's where they stand at the moment. I'll edit this along the way as things develop.

FEBRUARY OR MARCH 2008

Monsters and Other Childish Things, Completely Monstrous Edition
A complete, standalone roleplaying game, with extra art by Rob Mansperger and a ready-to-play adventure; by Benjamin Baugh. Hardcover, 184 sweet, sweet pages.

Candlewick
A suitably strange setting and adventure book for Monsters and Other Childish Things; by Benjamin Baugh. Probably PDF, length TBD.

Spring Crescent Middle School
A Monsters and Other Childish Things adventure; by Ross Payton. PDF, 16 pages.

MAY OR JUNE 2008

Wild Talents Second Edition
Currently getting new art, editing new material, and writing a hugely expanded "World Gone Mad" chapter and a new, shorter scenario. Hardcover, roughly 336 pages.

The Kerberos Club
Outcasts and heroes in a Victorian London gone very Strange; by Benjamin Baugh. Probably softcover and PDF, 128 pages.

This Favored Land
Talents in the U.S. Civil War, by Allan Goodall. Should go into playesting in October. Probably softcover and PDF, 128 pages.

Grim War
Superheroes and the supernatural collide in the modern day; by Greg Stolze and Kenneth Hite, incorporating the Company rules from Reign to play out factional conflicts. Probably softcover and PDF, 128 pages.

Little Gods
A Wild Talents-Reign crossover featuring mythic superhumans in a quasi-Arabian land; by James Knevitt. PDF, 16 pages.

The Talent Squad
A modern-day mystery in the "World Gone Mad" setting, where Talent police officers investigate the aftermath of the Builder invasion, 20 years later. PDF, 16 pages.

AND BEYOND?

We have a bunch of other things on the slate, some of which we can talk about now and some we'll save for later. Here are a few.

Operation Torch
The long-gestating Godlike campaign will get the final push to publication after the release of Wild Talents 2nd Edition and its first batch of supplements. By Brian Underhill, Eugene Moyers and Dennis Detwiller.

The Book of Voodoo
Ghostly magic seen through the Wild Talents lens. By Shane Ivey.

Terminal Velocity
A reality-bending hack of Wild Talents, where players shape the game as their characters shape reality. By Benjamin Baugh.

(Untitled Mecha Book)
A full-length expansion of "ORE Mecha," taking kinetic anime-style robot action into Wild Talents. By Kevin Pezzano.

WRITE FOR US!

Got ideas for Monsters, Wild Talents or Godlike? We want 'em!

You noticed a few of those 16-page PDFs we have planned, right? We want to do more. Many more. We're looking for stand-alone adventures, setting sourcebooks and other toolkits to enhance peoples' games. And we'll pay a little to make it even more fun.

Get details here.

Oooh, can't wait.

Okay, this is even more sought after. :)

Looks like 2008 is going to be a good year!

Some cool stuff there, but I had hoped for more Godlike stuff since it's still my favourite game.

So, how is the Christmas list coming? I'm very interested in the Monsters books, and I can't wait to buy them. Also, good to hear the Operation Torch campaign is still moving forward.

We have great news and annoying news on Monsters.

The annoying news: We didn't have time to get it together for a pre-Christmas release. But it is at the presses now. We'll probably have the books in February or March.

The great news: It's 182 pages of sheer beautiful awesomeness.

We'll put up a new website with previews -- and an online One-Click Monster Generator -- and open the Completely Monstrous Edition for pre-orders very soon.

Annoying News: Meh. By mail, I wouldn't have recieved it pre-Xmas anyway.

Great News: Just what is says on the tin. Great news! I'll want at least two.

How about the adventures and settings? As PDFs, I imagine I could be buying these sooner rather than later. As per usual, I would expect the dreaded day-jobs would make any release estimate vague, but I do like rumors...

I'm sorry my first post here will seem like I'm complaining but... I'm really looking forward to Talent Squad ; I remember it was announced for March, then April on the arcdream.com main page. It's now announced for May, which is fading fast... Could we have some news about it ? Is it going to be delayed ?

And also, will it be published as a book ? a pdf ? both ?

Sorry if I'm sounding a bit anxious, but I'm really looking forward to it :D (and my players to).
(and I apologize for any mistakes, english isn't my native language  )

My guess is that Talent Squad is waiting for the release of WT 2.0, no point releasing a product that people either can't use because the rules aren't out yet, or can only use with a rule set that is being superseded.

That's my take on things anyway.

I'm working hard to get two Monsters sourcebooks and WT2 off to the presses right now; then we can polish off Talent Squad and release it at last. We're getting the art for it now so it shouldn't be long once I get those other bigger projects out of the way.

I know that there is a status report on each product on the Arc Dream website but I was wondering if it has changed recently. Grim War is set for a late September release but with about a week left, will it make it? I'm not criticizing. I'm just eager.

Our layout guy is hard at work on the books right now, but I doubt it. Work on the Essential Edition took a lot more time than I anticipated, and with a small company like ours when one thing holds me up that means everything else gets delayed, too. (That's one reason I have a layout guy doing that part now, instead of trying to do it all myself!)
