I was just making my character for a new campaign (will do a write up of it elsewhere, because I thought it was fun and clever and want to brag), and noticed that in the Flaws section (working from the Essentials rulebook, Kindle edition) that Delayed Effect is worth -2, but in the Gadgeteering write-up it's only listed as -1. This changes the total pretty significantly; it means that the gadget disassembly costs 0 points ( then brought up to the minimum of 1) and each of the other qualities is worth 1 point less, for a total of 13 points. Is that a miscalculation on my part, or perhaps the designers felt that in this case the Delayed Effect flaw was only worth -1?
Just wondering if anybody else noticed that, or if there were any comment on that from the designers.
